  1. Sevilla is a town in the Valle of Cauca, the rural area of the town is very large and has many waterfalls, beautiful landscapes and mountains. The population is around 43. 738. the weather is rainy, cloudy, sunny, and sometimes stormy. It was founded on May 3, 1903, by Mr. Heraclio Uribe Uribe. Sevilla is known for being the coffee capital of Colombia and for its festivals such as the bandola festival and the jazz festival. Its main attractions are landscapes, the minor basilica, restaurants, the park and the variety of coffee there.

  2. Salamina is a town in Caldas, Colombia. It's localized to the north of Caldas. The climate is a little cloudy, usually the days are really depressing and rainy, because it's a mountain region, also there are many river.
    This town was declarated national monument and belong the cultural coffe grower landscape, and there are many typical houses of the colonization paisa. Today its church is basilica. It's named the ligth city in colombia because there are many poets, painters and musician recognized nationally and internationally The population is around 18.345. Anually celebrate the departmental Festival of Bands and fire night. Other attractive is the Palma De Cera La Samaria Natural Forest located in the township San Felix.

  3. Armenia is a town in the Quindio. It is localized in Colombian. Specifically in the center-west of the country. Also, it located near the central mountain range. The population in Armenia is around 295,208. The weather in Armenia is something incredible due to it usually doesn´t have a weather stable, in the other words, the climate in Armenia is very changing, because, you can be to feeling cold in the morning, after feeling warm in the afternoon, and finally in the night you can see how the weather is rainy.

    A long time ago, in Armenia lived the Quimbayas, they were a native group. Little time after, several people helped with the creation Armenia between they were Jesús María Ocampo, Alejandro Arias Suárez, Jesús María Arias, Hipólito Nieto, Enrique Nieto, José Joaquín Buitrago, and others. They founded Armenia on October 14, 1889. Armenia is known for its great production of coffee, because, it is the major producer of coffee in all Colombian. Its main attractions are the Quimbaya Gold Museum and Park of Life.

Bogotá is located in the savanna on the Cundiboyacense high plateau of the Eastern Cordillera of the Andes) the population is 7,181 million inhabitants, its climate is normally cold although sometimes it is hot, since the first inhabitants were Muiscas, and its founder was Gonzalo Jiménez, as some attractions are the Botero Museum, Bolívar Square, Simón Bolívar Central Park, and Bogotá is known for the pro museum because this is the largest in the world.

  5. Armenia is a city in Quindío, in Colombia, it is surrounded by mountains and near the Quindío River. the population is around 295,208 people. The climate of Armenia is varied, sometimes it is very hot or very cold, I think it is never in the middle. It is a boring city, there is not much to do, the best things are in the surrounding towns. The main thing to see or do in Armenia is to visit the Quimbaya museum, go to some viewpoints and visit the nearby parks, such as the cafe park or the park of life. It is known for being the capital of the department of Quindio and being framed by the Andes mountain range.

  6. La Tebaida is a town of the department of the Quindío. This department is located in the region Andina in the country Colombia, exactly in the region of the “Coffee Axis”, characterized for it is in a mountainous area, known for its Coffee culture. However, the town of La Tebaida doesn’t participate of the “Coffee cultural landscape” because its geographical condition is different from the department.

    La Tebaida is to knowns as the “Edén tropical Del Quindío”, for having a tropical climate, that is, it is a not very mountainous area, with small hill and presence of valleys. Its climate is between the 23 degrees Celsius, being the town warmest of the Quindío. Its population is around 32.748. In the past, the coffee was the beginning of the economic development of the region. Today, the town grow citrus fruits, banana, orange, cacao, sugar cane, among other; also, different companies have been installed.

    In its routes, La Tebaida have an airway like El Edén airport, land like the via Panamericana and fluvial like river La Vieja and Espejo. The town stands out for a great cultural participation with artists especially in the performing arts, dance and music in traditional and modern genres. Its main attracion is “El Valle de Maravélez”.

    Medellín is a Colombian municipality, capital of the department of Antioquia. It is the most populated city in the department and the second most populated in the country after Bogotá.
    It is located in the widest part of the natural region known as Valle de Aburrá, in the central mountain range of the Andes; It is surrounded by mountains and is known as the "Ciudad de la eterna primavera" for its climate that averages 24 ° C throughout the year.

  8. My hometown is called "El Bordo" and it is located in the southwest of Colombia. "El Bordo" has zones of very dry tropical forest and premontane dry forest. El Bordo has an average annual temperature of 26 ° C; and a population of 11 679 inhabitants.

    El Bordo was founded by the Spanish friar José María Chacón y Sánchez on October 22, 1824. It is the last town founded by the Spanish before the Independence of Colombia.

  9. Armenia is a colombian municipality ,this is the capital of the department of Quindio ,and Armenia is one of the principal cities of the Colombian coffee region; Armenia was founded In october fourteen of the year eingtheen eigthy nine.

    The economy of Armenia is based in the agriculture and this have the most impact in the years nineteen twenty and nineteen eighty thanks to the good coffe croops ,with this the city had the nickname “miracle city” this is by the great development of the city in a short time, this name was given by Guillermo Leon Valencia.

    The weater is mild weather and this is so good for the people that visit the city,the principal aspects and atractions of Armenia are el parque del cafe,the butterfly farm,the park of life.
    The population is 295,208 of people .

  10. Hello everybody, my name is Olga Lucia Morales and I live in Barcelona.
    Barcelona is a small town located south of Calarca in the Department of Quindio. It has mountains to the East, which are part of a mountain system called the Central Coordinate and valley to the West. A river named Green River to the south. The population is around 16.000 and it has 28 neighborhoods. Barcelona is hot, your average temperature is 25 degrees celsius, but in summer wil can be up to 35 or 38 degrees celsius. Barcelona is called Bird town, because it is a place where there aren't factories or big employees. So most people travel to work to other cities, for example Armenia or Calarca and just sleep there. The majority of the employees are in the field. In the past Barcelona was a way mandatory for travel to Valle del Cauca or Cali but after building the highway it wasn't important. The main things to do in Barcelona are visiting the mail park, it is so big and drink a delicious cafe in Rancho W , go to eat forcha and empanadas in the alto of the forcha, eat Sudao Montanero where Alfredo’s Restaurant and go to Green River to enjoy its cool waters.

  11. My hometown is located in Colombia in the departament of Quindio. It is the second city more important. My hometwon is called Calarcá.
    There are about 79.000 people. The climate in general is something cold, but somedays can be hot. This city was habited by Cacique Calarcá, an important leader indigenous. The city was founded in 1986 by some Antioqueños. Calarca have many destinity tourist like Recuca, mariposario, many places cultural, coffes, bars, typical resturants, hotels and resorts.
    Calarca is known because is a traditional city of the coffee cultural landscape.

  12. Armenia city is my hometown. This city is the capital of the department of Quindio, it's a beautiful city, surrounded by green mountains and hills, it also has many streams, it's limited by the Quindio river on the east side. Armenia has a very pleasant, itsn't cold, neither hot, the weather is temperate, however there are very rainy o very hot days.
    Armenia has founded in 1889, It's 133 years old. Currently has a population betwee 350.000 y 400.000. The city has excellent acces roads and highways for to travel to other cities. The city also has good restaurants, tematic parks near, a great commerce, great offer to places for entertainment. Armenia has an internatinal airport, El Eden, from where is possible connect with others cities in Colombia and other countries. The food and in general the customers are from the paisa region of Colombia.
    Armenia is an emerging city and has several problems that require attention from goverment.

  13. Armenia is a city surrounded of mountains. Its in the middle of central mountain range when different rivers across the mountains. About population, Armenia is a small city with around 600.000 people live there where most people are kind and friendship. On the other hand, the weather change between warm days and rainny days, but you never see snow because is a tropical area. As a small city - in my opinion- don´t have to many activites to do, so the best plans for go out in Armenia coud be go to the differents coffeeshops or go with someone to the nearly towns.

  14. Filandia is a town in the department of Quindio, in Colombia. It is located on the west side of mountains range central of the Andes. Is the second smallest deparment of Colombia. It is economically supported by agriculture and tourism.
    His weather is mildy and warm, but often it is cold. The population is around 20.000. Researching your history the town, currently known as "The Illuminated Hills of the Andes", In pre-colombian times the territory was occupied by indigenous peoples of the Quimbaya tribe.
    He was known when the novel Cafe con Aroma de Mujer was filmed.

  15. Armero-Guayabal is a town in the department of Tolima, in colombia. Its located near the volcano "Nevado del Ruiz". This town is called Armero. Because in 1985 the volcano was destroy a big town called Armero. The people of guayabal decided called Armero-Guayabal in honor to the people died in the tragedy. Only for this the people remenber my town. The weather its normally sunny. Its is a very hot place. Sometimes the people stay happy when it is raining. In armero lives maybe eleven thousand person. there are a lot of rivers near the town. The tourists loves swimming in the rivers.

  16. Popayan is my hometown, it is a medium-sized city where people are very friendly but also very direct, its temperature is very varied but it is mostly cold, it is one of the first cities founded in Colombia, it has 3 shopping centers but it has many parks and monuments with history

  17. Armenia is a warm city to enjoy in placid walks through its main streets or in happy gatherings in cafes and ice cream parlors. My hometown is part of the coffee landscape, you can enjoy spectacular landscapes where green and mountains stand out. It is a friendly, charming destination full of that natural charm that represents us Colombians.
